Contemporary photography today includes abstract, landscape, architectural, and even camera-less photography, among others. Photo documentary and photojournalism are two sub-genres that remain popular. They provide image capture of subjects that display pressing current representation, i.e., in the ‘now’. I choose to include a variety of subjects that show similar trends, though not entirely, as comprehension can often be elusive.
